Along with the Novo Ethne Cambodia team, Joanne seeks to help foster a Gospel Movement among marginalized people of Cambodia, focusing on prayer, evangelism, discipleship and leader development while utilizing her platform as a Speech Language Pathologist to help: - build local professional university-qualified Speech Language Pathologists through partnership with a local NGO (OIC Cambodia) - provide effective leadership for growing the profession of Speech Pathology in Cambodia - build the capacity (skills, strategies, etc) of teachers and health workers currently working with this special needs population - advocate and build relationships with government and other key stakeholders, creating resources, and doing research.
